William “Billy” Eubank Boughton, 80, of Glenns, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 31, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Billy was born in Glenns to the late Katherine and Percy Boughton, on Sept. 23, 1944. After graduating high school, Billy started working for the Chesapeake Corporation, West Point, where he then became a dedicated employee working for 37 years. He was also a dedicated member of Saluda Baptist Church, where he enjoyed worship and fellowship with many friends.
Billy is preceded in death by his parents, Percy and Katherine Boughton; brothers, Donnie Boughton, Percy Boughton Jr.; and aunts; Cora Boughton and Sadie Boughton.
He is survived by his loving wife, Janine Boughton; two wonderful children, Marie Thornton (Brian) and William Boughton; and five grandchildren, Brandon Boughton, Jonathan Boughton, Logan Boughton, Brent Thornton and Anthony Thornton.
The family will welcome friends at a graveside service set for 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 8 at Harmony Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Topping.
Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, Saluda is assisting the family.
