The Saluda Baptist Church volunteers took part as one of the 30 local churches invited to take part in packing the boxes for the Hope for Appalachia ministry. Hope for Appalachia is a $15,000-$18,000 mission project that brings hope and joy and an opportunity to share Christ, and local churches cover the cost through their gifts.
The Hope boxes will be delivered by 30 MTBA volunteers to children in public schools on April 14-19. The children that receive the boxes may wonder who actually sent them and it is hoped will come to know that actually God did. Donations may be made to the Mid-Tidewater Baptist Association, Saluda.
