St. Clare Walker Middle School eighth grader Tarah McGuire received a first place award in the Virginia School Boards Association state art contest.
She, along with Middlesex Elementary School artist Rilee Bayor and Middlesex High School artist Katelin Reiner, was recognized at the Middlesex County School Board meeting on Monday, March 10.
