Christchurch School (CCS) Art Teacher and Visual and Performing Arts Department Chairman Sarah McCormick announced recently that several CCS students were selected as winners in the annual Celebrating Art.Com art competition. Winning pieces will be published in an anthology due out in the spring.
Middle Peninsula-Northern Neck winners and their winning artwork include:
- Matthew Bryant, son of William and Glenda Bryant of Heathsville, “Eternal Star.”
- Abigail Fannin, daughter of Steve and Donna Fannin of Hayes, “Steps of Art.”
- Trevor Haynie, son of PJ and Lisa Haynie of Burgess, “Elemental Harmony.”
- Addison Kosek, daughter of Patrick and Shannon Kosek of St. Stephens Church, “Italian Nights.”
- Jacob Lewis, son of Ashleigh Lewis of Lancaster, “Orange Explosion.”
- Carly Moss, daughter of Matt and Melissa Moss of Hartfield, “Hide and Sleep.”
