Hartfield Volunteer Fire Department’s community breakfast is set for 7:30-11 a.m. Saturday, March 15, at the HVFD firehouse at 3309 Twiggs Ferry Road.
The all-you-can-eat break-fast cost is $15 for adults and $7 for children ages 6-12. Younger children eat for free.
There will be a drawing for door prizes at 9 and 10:30 a.m. The HVFD Auxiliary thrift store will be open.
The HVFD is looking for community organizations to set up at the breakfast. Churches, social organizations, service groups like the Moose Lodge or Lions Club are invited. Youth sports will hold a sign up day at the breakfast.
“Anyone that will strengthen our community is asked to reach out to us for details,” said Fire Chief Kevin McNamee, who can be reached at 804-241-9412.
The event is sponsored by Brownley Septic Service and Dixie Knoll Farm.
