Two injured persons were airlifted by helicopter following a two-vehicle crash last week at the intersection of General Puller Highway (Route 33) and Grey’s Point Road (Route 3) at Harmony Village, reported Sgt. J. Dudley of the Gloucester Office of the Virginia State Police. Two other crash victims were transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
None of the injuries to the four crash victims appeared to be life threatening, according to authorities.
According to the police report, shortly before 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 18, two vehicles collided and one of them overturned.
A 1997 GMC Yukon driven by Monique Burrell of Center Cross was traveling west on Route 33 and collided with a 2017 Ford Fusion driven by Alexus Robinson of White Stone.
The Yukon overturned and then hit a pole that supports the traffic signal.
The investigation was ongoing as of Friday and charges were pending, said Sgt. Dudley, who added it appears that one of the drivers went through a red light signal…
