MHS boys basketball team notches 77-60 victory in regular season finale, wins opener in Region A action, 66-37

Middlesex High School’s (MHS) boys basketball team, (16-5, 11-1) won its last regular season game of the 2024-2025 season against Charles City, 77-60, at the John S. Clements Memorial Gymnasium in Saluda on Tuesday, Feb. 18.
The Chargers scheduled final regular season game against King & Queen Central’s Royal Tigers on Wednesday, Feb. 19, was cancelled due to snowy weather. (Middlesex captured Tidewater District runner-up honors, according to MaxPreps.com. Mathews [16-8, 11-1] is the district champion.)
The first round of the Region A basketball tournament started this week as the Chargers defeated the Chincoteague Ponies, 66-37, Monday, at MHS.
