If you are seeking a family outing that offers family fun, bonding, camaraderie and literally “squeal appeal,” join Cub Scout Pack 341 for its annual Pinewood Derby on Saturday, Feb. 22, at Christ Church Parish Hall in Christchurch. Doors open at 4 p.m. and the race begins at 4:30 p.m. All are welcome to join in the fun!
Cub Scout Pack members, with 26 on the roster, range in ages from 5 to 11. They have been working hard since Feb. 6, designing, creating, carving and adding their special touches to their “vehicles” for the derby. Twenty-six cars will be handed out to the Scouts so that all can participate, said Cubmaster Mark Fatigato. “We have a track ready for action and it is indeed an action-packed event,” he noted.

Fatigato noted that all their leaders are advocates for Cub Scouts and recruiting and they will be attending the derby race.
