Hartfield’s Caisse is among CCS swimmers in state championship

Several Christchurch School (CCS) swimmers recently qualified to compete in the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association (VISAA) Championship meet last week at the Jeff Rouse Aquatic Center in Stafford.

VISAA Championship meet qualifiers and their events are Hannah VanVelzor of Norwalk, Conn., 500 freestyle; Finley Caisse of Hartfield, 50 freestyle, 200 medley relay, 100 backstroke; Jimmy Lewis of Lancaster, 50 freestyle, 200 freestyle relay; Anthony Dentener of Cape Town, South Africa, 50 freestyle, 200 freestyle relay; Mare Barasik of Antalya, Turkey, 200 medley relay; Alex Fitzhugh of Midlothian, 50 freestyle, 200 medley relay, 200 freestyle relay; and Harrison Hinton of Wicomico Church, 50 freestyle, 200 medley relay, 200 freestyle relay.
