Jo Ann Cooke

Jo Ann Cooke, 76, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025, joining arms with the Lord.

Her family takes comfort in knowing she is reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Frank Cooke Jr.

Jo Ann was a devoted mother to her daughters Tammy, Margie, Chrystal, and Kristen, along with her sons Frank,Carl and Berkley. She was a proud grandmother to Peyton, Emma-Grace, and Lorelei.

Throughout her life, Jo Ann embraced many others as her children, extending her love and care beyond her immediate family. Her unwavering devotion to her family was the cornerstone of her life.

Jo Ann is also survived by her sister Jean Stewart; and brother, Charles E. Turlington (Woody).

She joins in eternal rest with her brothers, William R. Turlington (Billy Ray), and John R. Turlington(Reedy); as well as her grandson, Brian Jr.

Known for grace of giving, she made a commitment to teach everyone to love and care for one other. With open arms and an unmeasurable heart, her kindness, generosity, and steadfast faith, Jo Ann touched countless lives. Her warmth and compassion left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Psalm 143:8,  “Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my Life”

A celebration of life is planned for 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 28 at River of Life church, 2177 Regent Road, Topping.
