The Middlesex Elementary School (MES) STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering And Math) Lab is providing engaging hands-on learning experiences, while St. Clare Walker (SCW) Middle School eighth graders conducted a crystal snowflake lab to observe supersaturation. Middlesex High School (MHS) history classes continue to delve deeper into local history through field trips to the Middlesex County Museum, where students are reading old maps, conducting research, and writing about their findings.
Furthermore, MCPS is prioritizing a positive learning environment. MES students are actively collecting “Colt Horseshoes” to recognize positive behavior, while SCW students are enjoying rewards for demonstrating school expectations.
