It is with profound sadness we announce that Patricia Ann Tinsley, 77, of Deltaville passed away Thursday, Jan. 30, 2025.
Pat was a beautiful woman with a kind and generous soul. She was very active in her beloved community and adored by all who knew her. Pat was predeceased by her parents, Clarence and Thelma Hughes; her sister, Sandra Anderson; and the love of her life, her husband Cliff.
She is survived by her son Dean (Karen); her grandchildren, Sara, Emma, and Justin (Megan); and their children, Bella and Tori; her brother, Len; her stepchildren, Alvin (Cindy), and Annette; and their children and grandchildren.
Pat was born and raised in Richmond. She graduated from Henrico High School in 1966. She and Cliff lived in Richmond until 1982, when they moved to a sleepy little town and embraced life in Deltaville. She dearly loved to spend warm summer nights watching the Deltas play ball, working with the Lower Middlesex County Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary, visiting with her friends and family and working in her frame shop surrounded by beautiful things. Pat never met a person she didn’t know and had friends everywhere she went. She will be missed every day.
There will be a service to celebrate Pat’s life on Saturday, Feb. 8, at 11 a.m. at Philippi Christian Church.
