MHS trio achieve 3-0 records at Jan. 15 home quad meet

The Middlesex High School wrestling team defeated Westmoreland, 46-17, and King & Queen Central, 54-12, and lost to Franklin, 52-24, at a quad meet on Jan. 15 in Saluda’s John S. Clements Memorial Gymnasium.

The Chargers were paced by Andrew Harrow, Zach Deagle and Zachary Dean, who had 3-0 records at the meet. Connor Graulich, Joseph Brandon, Joseph Rowe and Ethan Walker won two matches and lost one and Talon Busic and Cole Glasco got a win in their weight classes for MHS.

The Chargers competed at the Ram Ramble Tournament at Lafayette High School on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 17 and 18, and in a quad meet at Mathews High School on Wednesday, Jan. 22.
