The Middlesex County School Board (MCSB) conducted its annual organizational meeting on Monday, Jan. 13, and unanimously re-elected longtime school board member Elliott Reed as chairman for 2025-2026.
Reed is the longest serving school board member on the board. He has served for more than 24 years as Jamaica District representative.The board also re-elected Dr. Dana Burnett as vice chairman. He is in his second term on the board.
School board members are in their second year of four-year terms. The board members include, Reed, Jamaica District representative; Burnett, Saluda District; Jennifer McMurtrie, Hartfield District; Tiffany Robins, Pinetop District; and Thomas Kennedy, Harmony Village District.
