No one enjoyed the first good snowfall in Urbanna in the last several years more than Vicki Satterwhite’s Kingston (right), a Bernese mountain dog. The “Berner” shares a moment with his carefully crafted snow prince. Kingston returns to the AKC show ring Jan. 25 in West Friendship, Md. After that, he will compete in the Bernese Mountain Dog National Championships in Gettysburg, Pa., in late March.
