Michael Turner Morrissett left us on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024, due to complications of ALS.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Millie Morrissett, Evelyn and Andy Turner; and his sister, Sydney Marshall Turner.
He is survived by his wife, Clay Whitman Morrissett; and two sons, Will (Melanie) and Andrew (Arin).
Mike it’s also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Drew and Laurie Turner; and his sisters, Leslie Babcock and Courtney Turner.
Mike graduated from Patrick Henry High School in Roanoke; Virginia Military Institute, Class of 1974; and the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
Mike retired from Wells Fargo as a financial advisor for more than 40 years in Roanoke. In his spare time, he spent time teaching exercise classes and spending time in his favorite place in Deltaville on Fishing Bay.

Mike’s family and friends will conduct a celebration of life in January in Roanoke.
