Mary Eliza Roberta Scott Boyd departed this life on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024 at age 87.
Mary or Eliza, as she was affectionately known to her family and friends, was born Dec. 16, 1936 to the late Beverly Scott and Pearcie Scott Braxton. She was the widow of the late Marcellus Boyd.
Eliza was the beloved school bus driver for Bus 17 for more than 31 years in Middlesex County.
She leaves behind her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, bonus siblings, a sister-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins to cherish her memory.
The viewing will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13 at J.K. Redmond Funeral Home. The funeral service is planned for noon Saturday, Dec. 14 at Immanuel Baptist Church, Saluda.
