In the search for gifts this year, shoppers will have the opportunity to buy local and support the arts with Arts in the Middle’s Christmas Gallery.
Offered in Urbanna this Saturday, Dec. 7, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the historic Old Haywood’s Store (101 Watling St., opposite Angelo’s Colonial Pizza), the pop-up gallery aims to highlight the work of local artists in a festive setting around the holidays.
Artists include:
- Beth Bader (ceramics)
- Jody Ball (pastel)
- Jack Banks (pen and ink/painting)
- Linda Brent (ceramics)
- Carol Chandler (painting/ mixed media)
- Shawna Hambley (mixed media)
- Mary Ellen Huennekins (fabric arts)
- Karin Kampinga (watercolor)
- Lauren Moye (acrylic)
- Anna Pomaska (watercolor/photography)
- Celane Roden (painting)
- Liz Wallace (jewelry, painting)
Artists will be on hand throughout the day to discuss their work. Payments may be made by cash, check, or arrangement with the artist (if the artist is on site). Parking is available next door at Urbanna Baptist Church.
