Volunteers with Urbanna Main Street (UMS) have been busy making bows, as well as designing, purchasing and hanging new flags on Virginia Street and Cross Street for this holiday season. Thirty-nine new flags bearing the Urbanna Holiday Home Tour logo, reminiscent of the late Betsy Bristow’s flags, have been made and will adorn each light post. Volunteers from UMS worked with the Town of Urbanna many hours to brighten up the streets of town. The flags were paid for by Urbanna Main Street with proceeds from last year’s Holiday Home Tour.
The Urbanna Holiday Home Tour is an Urbanna Main Street initiative in collaboration with the Urbanna Beautification Inc., “UBI,” a 501c3 organization.
This year’s Urbanna Holiday Home Tour is set for Saturday, Dec. 14, from 11 a.m.-4 p.m., and sponsored by Troutman Pepper.
