It’s again that time of year to get into the holiday spirit. By now the Deltaville/Hardyville communities should have received a Love Lights flyer in their mailboxes. The Lower Middlesex Volunteer Fire Department (LMVFD) Auxiliary will celebrate the 36th annual Christmas Love Lights program on Sunday, Dec. 8.
Watch for Santa Claus on a LMVFD fire truck cruising through Deltaville and Hardyville between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m., ending at the Deltaville Lights. Hot chocolate and cookies will be provided by the auxiliary.
This celebration of lights is a way for the community to show its appreciation for the volunteer firemen and for us, as individuals, to honor and remember our loved ones.
