Shirley Anne Fetterolf Blake, 91, of Topping, passed away at Riverside Lifelong Health and Rehabilitation Center on Monday, Nov. 11, 2024.
Over the past four years, she loved having visitors, especially when they brought candy or homemade food. The family expresses sincere thanks to the staff at the rehabilitation center.
Shirley was born on Jan. 11, 1933.
She graduated from Middlesex High School.
She married the love of her life, Raymond Milton Blake, in 1954. They were happily married for 59 years. You rarely saw one without the other. Some of their most cherished times were watching grandchildren and great-grandchildren at their sporting events and activities.
Shirley was known for delicious, abundant cooking and thoughtful generosity. She was a bus driver for Middlesex County Public Schools for 37 years. She impacted the lives of so many children.
She is survived by her beloved sons, David, Gary (Sheri) and Tim (Dana); her darling grandchildren, Chris (Caley) Blake, Katherine Blake (Brett) Shaw, Trey Blake, Traci Blake (John) Wright, and Jennifer Blake; her sweet great-grandchildren, Chelsi Blake, Allison Blake, Matthew Blake, Alexa Young-Blake, Corbin Blake, Samantha Wright, Cheyenne Pullman, Sarah Blake, and William Blake; and a great-great-grandson, Kia Honaker.
She is also survived by her devoted brother, Frank Fetterolf; and sister-in-law, Mary Ann Fetterolf. She is survived by two dear nieces that she enjoyed so much, Shirley Rose Reid and Sandra Campbell.
Shirley requested no service. Please smile and remember the good times with her.
