Host Middlesex High School had the individual winner and runner-up for a team low 28 and the meet win at an Oct. 23 four-way cross country meet. King William was second with 32 points, Rappahannock of Warsaw third with 81 and Lancaster fourth, 103.
Cameron Lambert of Middlesex led the field of 54 runners with a time of 17:05. His teammate Gunnar Marston ran the race in 18:25 as the runner-up. Completing the scoring for the Chargers were Darius Jones, 18:51, in fifth place; Thomas Dobb, 19:07, in ninth and Dylan Janisko, 19:20, in 11th.
In the girls race, Iyana Jenkins of Middlesex led 29 runners, winning on her home course in 22:00. However, all five Rappahannock scorers finished in the top 10 for a team low 26 points as the Raiders won the team competition. Middlesex was second with 53 points and King William, third, 64.
