Middlesex volleyball team clinches home court advantage for tourney

Middlesex High School’s volleyball team finished in first place in the Tidewater District with wins over Charles City on Oct. 17 and West Point on Oct 22. As the number one seed, the Charger girls have clinched home court advantage for the upcoming tournament.

The squad finished 21-2 with its only losses being to Bruton in an invitational tournament and King William, which it defeated once this season.

The Lady Chargers will host the semifinals of the Tidewater District Tournament on Monday, Oct. 2…
