The Middlesex High School golf team is 6-1 after defeating visiting Mathews on Sept. 11 with a score of 172-225 at Hartfield’s Piankatank River Golf Club (PRGC). Nielson McMinn shot 35, and Henry Fleet shot 45. Kai Evans and Abel Crader each shot 46.
On Wednesday Sept. 18, the Chargers had their last chance to avenge their only loss when visiting King William came to PRGC for the regular season finale.
