The Middlesex County Public Library (MCPL) system is offering a creative writing workshop, “Synonyms for Grief,” at MCPL’s Urbanna branch on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Poet Anne Marie Wells will serve as the host.
Host Wells is a critically acclaimed poet, playwright, memoirist and storyteller from Northern Virginia. She is the author of “Survived By: A Memoir in Verse” and “Mother (V)” among others, and the recipient of numerous awards and prizes.
