Linda B. Liverman

Linda B. Liverman, 77, was born Oct. 21, 1946, in Emporia, and passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

She was a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend whose kindness and warmth left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Garrett Brigman and Eleanor Gay Brigman; and her brothers, Garrett and Chris Brigman.

Linda attended cosmetology school and dedicated 46 years of her life to her craft, spending most of her career at West Coast Designs in Roanoke Rapids, N.C. As a talented hairdresser, she touched countless lives with her skill and compassion. Her artistry and the personal connections she formed with her clients were a true testament to her generosity and care.

She is survived by her two sons, Eric Liverman (Liz) of Wilson, N.C., and Evan Liverman (Sherri) of Saluda. Linda was a devoted grandmother to her five beloved grandchildren, David Liverman, Matthew Liverman, Mary Liverman, Dayton Liverman, Haylynn Liverman; and her great-granddaughter, Chloe DeBruhl. Her family was her greatest joy, and she took immense pride in each of their accomplishments and milestones.

Linda was loved by all that had the pleasure of knowing her and she will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

The family will receive visitors 6-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23 at Echol’s funeral home in Emporia. The graveside service is planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking friends to honor Linda with a donation to their favorite hair salon for a child in need.
