Deltaville downs Richmond River Dogs 6-4, improves to 11-4-1 overall
The Deltaville Deltas rode strong pitching from Cole Stamm last Thursday night, holding off the Richmond River Dogs for a 6-4 road victory.
Saturday night’s home matchup against the Amelia Athletics was rained out and will not be rescheduled. The Deltas improved to 11-4-1 overall on the season, and continue to sit one game back of the second-place Richmond El Heaters and two games back of the leading Tappahannock Tides.
This Saturday night, the Deltas will conclude their regular season schedule with a home game against the Richmond Dirt Devils. First pitch at Deltaville Ballpark is set for 7:30 p.m.
