Zikirah Morris, a 2024 Urbanna Oyster Festival Queen contestant, recently announced that she is conducting a day-time basketball camp from 9 a.m to 3 p.m on Thursday, July 25, at the Tom Carter Memorial Gymnasium at 2911 General Puller Highway (Route 33) in Cooks Corner. She will be assisted by her Little Miss Spat contestant Felicity Acevedo.
Food will be included for participants of ages 8 through 15 and the camp cost is $20 per child and will be sponsored by Hometown IGA, and Food Lion.

The camp is part of the community service project of Zikirah and Felicity, who are raising awareness and collecting donations to give to Virginia’s Breast Cancer Foundation in hopes that it will help someone locally afford screenings and biopsies.
