The Deltaville Deltas were edged by the Tappahannock Tides by the score of 3-1 on Saturday night, and travelled to Richmond on Tuesday where they trounced the Richmond El Heaters by the score of 16-3.

The Deltas move to an overall record of 6-2-1 on the season, and sit in third place in Richmond NABA standings.

Deltas 3, Tides 1

Pitchers Dawson Adams, Gabe Espiritu, and Chase Fisher combined to scatter just seven Tappahannock hits over nine innings, but the Deltas offense was held almost completely in check on Saturday night.

Deltas 16, El Heaters 3

Chase Fisher pitched a complete game, and the Deltas pounded out 16 hits, as they avenged their earlier meeting against the Richmond El Heaters in a 16-3 road victory on Tuesday night.

This weekend, the Richmond Brewers will come to Deltaville Ballpark for a Saturday night showdown, with first pitch scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
