Traveling on Saturday, June 22, to the Deltaville Maritime Museum’s (DMM) Groovin’ in the Park, “Sincerely, Iris” opens at 5 p.m. for the alternative sound of Ali Thibodeau and Deau Eyes. He will share his songs and custom license plate slide guitar for all of us.

Groovin’ welcomes new headliner Deau Eyes with singer/songwriter Ali Thibodeau and keyboardist/saxman Charles Owens. They will be headlining the concert from 6-8 p.m. with their signature offering of fresh indie-pop. Gates open at 4 p.m.

Deau Eyes is Ali Thibodeau, born and raised in Richmond. She is a singer-songwriter, recording artist, and arts educator with a slew of experience in more than 45 colorful occupations to supplement her work. It has only been in recent years that she has listened to herself, to her original inner voice, and began to translate her wide range of experiences into her own music. Her debut album “Let it Leave,” released in May 2020.

Advance tickets for this special performance concert are available at Nauti Nell’s store and the DMM office, during open hours, our website and, as always, at the door. Tickets are $15 per person in advance and $20 at the door. Children younger than 12 get in for free.
