The Middlesex High School (MHS) boys and girls track teams finished eighth as teams in the Virginia Class 1 state meet at James Madison University in Harrisonburg on Saturday and Sunday.
The boys scored 34.5 points in the meet, while the girls scored 28.5 total team points. The powerful Lancaster Red Devils won the boys state meet with 87.5 points and the Brunswick High girls team won with 84 points.
