With the Deltaville-based buyboat F.D. Crockett’s 100-year birthday celebration coming up, the Deltaville Maritime Museum (DMM) and Friends of the F.D. Crockett wish to invite all to the celebration and concert on Sunday, June 16, from 1-5 p.m.
DMM’s waterfront park and pierwalks will be open and active with tours of the Crockett, free creek cruises on the Jennie May, our “Living Shoreline” and a pop-up concert of island music fresh from the Caribbean.

Live Music
There’s nothing like the steel drums and lilting rhythms of island music played in those waterfront breezes! Catch it all on this Pop-Up Sunday series concert as Barefoot Davis comes to town Sunday, June 16, 3-5 p.m. all the way from Saint Thomas Island. So, throw on your island gear, grab your cooler and lawn chair, and come on down to DMM from 3-5 p.m. for a musical trip to the islands. Everything but the palm trees! Gates open at 2 p.m.
This is not a Groovin’ in the Park concert, so you need to get tickets at the DMM office or at day of at the door. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door.
All proceeds go directly to the F.D. Crockett 100th birthday Endowment Fund.
