St. Clare Walker Middle School’s Fellowship of Christian Athlete’s Club has been busy learning how to be disciples of Christ.

The student-initiated and student-led group consists of more than 75 middle schoolers. They gather on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and engage in games and activities that help build leadership qualities and a relationship with God. Through scripture, they have received the most inspiring leadership lessons and how they apply to them in everyday life.

Many local churches and individuals have so graciously donated snacks throughout the school year for the students. The club recently participated in a birthday box community service project that will benefit several Middlesex County families.

Student leaders in the Fellowship include eighth graders, Hannah Koehler, Veronica Wells, and Julia Dise; and sixth grader, Serenity Wells. Club sponsors include the Rev. Aaron Wells, Meaghan Koehler, Cristie Jenkins, Wendy Shores and Club Supervisor Coach Lutz.
