A Middlesex County man died at the scene of a two-vehicle crash on Monday at Glenns, in upper Gloucester County.
According to the Virginia State Police (VSP), at about 11:38 a.m. on Monday, a 2013 Hyundai Elantra and a 2008 Ford F-350 were both traveling northbound on U.S. Route 17, near Glenns Road (Route 198), when the Elantra and the F-350 collided. The Elantra then ran off of Route 17 and overturned in the median.
The driver of the Elantra, a Middlesex man, was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected. He died at the scene.
The three people in the F-350 were not injured.
As of Wednesday, VSP is still working to determine which vehicle is at fault in this crash.
