Arts In the Middle (AIM) invites the public to an opening reception at Arts at the Point (17410 General Puller Highway, diagonally across from Cafe by the Bay) on Saturday, April 13, from 3 to 7 p.m., welcoming new artists and work for the month of April. Wine and light refreshments will be served, and artists will be on hand to sell and discuss their work.
The April reception will feature brand new work by exhibiting artists, including Jack Banks, Linda Brent, Judy Bumgardner, Brigitte Cusa, Mary Ellen Huennekens, Kathleen Noffsinger, Margaret Thompson, and Anne Wilcox. It will also introduce drawings and mixed media/found object sculptures by Heidi Christiansen.
The venue is hosting a regular schedule of art events throughout April and May, including a paint night by Lauren Moye, Friday, April 12, from 6-8 p.m., and Jody Ball on the morning of Saturday, April 20, from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
