Christ Church Parish (Episcopal)’s Good Friday service will be at noon today, March 29, when they recall the agony of the crucifixion.
On Sunday, March 31, at 6 a.m., the dark church will welcome the first light of Easter at our Easter Vigil service. A new fire is kindled outside, and the Paschal Candle is then lit from it and carried into the church symbolizing the light of Christ being carried into the world. The Paschal Candle will remain lit at all services at the front of the church during the Great Fifty Days of Easter.
At 10 a.m. Sunday, they will then celebrate Christ’s resurrection with a joyful, glorious Easter Day service.
Everyone is invited. Everyone is welcome.
