A crash victim was airlifted to a hospital following a three-vehicle crash on Greys Point Road (Route 3) in Topping on Saturday night, reported First Sgt. J.A. Teagle of the Virginia State Police’s Gloucester office.
According to the crash report, about 9:34 p.m. Dominae L. Ivery, 18, of Church View in upper Middlesex County, was traveling south on Greys Point Road and attempted to pass a car in a no-passing zone and crossed over the double yellow line in the curve at the Pilot House Inn restaurant.
Four persons were transported to hospitals.
Speed appears to be a factor in the crash. Charges were pending at press time.Trooper J.W. Krom investigated the crash.
