Arts In the Middle (AIM) President Michael Kunzinger this week announced a new Middlesex County arts venue — the opening of its pop-up gallery “Arts at the Point.” The pop-up site will be open from now through May and feature more than a dozen artists. An opening reception is set for 3-6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at the new gallery at 17410 General Puller Highway (Route 33) in Deltaville. Light refreshments will be served and artists will be on hand to discuss their work.

Located diagonally across General Puller Highway from the Cafe by the Bay restaurant near Deltaville’s Stingray Point, Arts at the Point aims to highlight the wealth of creative talent in the Deltaville area, and to serve as a gathering point for the local arts community. A lineup of events is planned, including classes, artist meet-ups, paint nights, and more. Details and events will be announced in the Southside Sentinel and on AIM social media sites.

The pop-up gallery is scheduled to run from now through May 31, and be open weekly Thursday and Friday 1-5 p.m., and Saturday 10-5 p.m.
