Middlesex wrestlers Dean and Dobb qualify for state

The Middlesex High School (MHS) Charger wrestling team had two grapplers qualify for the State Class 6 wrestling meet at the Salem Civic Center in Salem on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 16 and 17.

Thomas Dobb and Zach Dean finished third in their weight classes at the Region A wrestling championship at Lancaster High School on Saturday. The top three in each weight class at the Region A meet qualified for state.

Dobb’s third place finish came in the 165-pound weight class, while Dean finished third in the heavyweight, 215-pound, class.
