Folks are now applying for Arts In the Middle’s (AIM) local artist tent for AIM’s 2024 Spring Arts Festival, which is set for Saturday and Sunday, June 1 and 2, at Hewick Plantation near Urbanna.
Now entering its 10th year, the annual festival is consistently rated one of the best art shows in eastern Virginia, and is a perennial favorite among vendors. Every year Middlesex County-area artists are invited to have their work displayed in a large pavilion directly adjacent to the entrance, a prime location for visibility and sales.
For artists on the Middle Peninsula or Northern Neck, it’s a great opportunity to sell work at a high-profile show. It’s also a chance to connect with a thriving network of other local artists.
To apply or learn more about the local artist tent go to artsinthemiddle.com. Inquiries should be directed to Michael Kunzinger at mfkunzinger@gmail.com or Beth Bader at babader@vcu.edu.
