In 2002, the Middlesex County Sports Complex Commission began a fundraising campaign that would allow the complex to grow the sports program. The campaign was called “Build a Pathway to Success.” A pathway has been built around the flagpole and concession stand with engraved bricks. There are currently more than 300 engraved bricks installed.
The cost of a brick is $150 for family/individual and $200 for organization/business. Bricks can be purchased to honor a family or family member, favorite teacher/coach, mentor, local sports hero, in memory of a loved one, or a milestone in one’s life.
Anyone interested in purchasing a brick can call Jackie Duke Taylor at 804-436-6807 or submit a form with a check made payable to Middlesex County Sports Complex and mail to Jackie Duke Taylor at 1303 General Puller Highway, Saluda, VA 23149.
