Rowan Anderson paces MHS at Mathews wrestling invitational

The Middlesex High School (MHS) Charger wrestling team finished 12th at the annual Mathews High School Invitational Wrestling Tournament on Saturday as grappler Rowan Anderson paced MHS, scoring 18 points.

In the 175-pound weight class, Anderson went 3-1 in the tournament with three pins and took third overall individually in the meet. Charger Andrew Harrow in the 150-pound weight class scored 8 points going 3-2 with two pins.

The Chargers took on the Gloucester Dukes on Wednesday, Jan. 10, at Gloucester High School. Results were unavailable at press time.
