Mary Frances Reed, 89, of Laneview departed this life on Thursday, Dec. 21, 2023.
She is survived by three daughters, Ann Ward of Laneview, Vivian Jessie (Wayne) of Churchview and Brenda Butler of Dale City; seven sons, Earl Reed of Laneview, Charles Reed (Diane) of Laneview, Wayne Reed of Jamaica, Gilbert Reed (Gladys) of Warner, Francis Reed (Jeanette) of Laneview, Melvin Reed (Stacy) of Henrico and Terry Reed (Stacy) of Urbanna; 27 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; one brother, John Cauthorne (Bessie) of Laneview; five sisters, Doris Gray of Laneview, Sarah Rembert of Camden, N.J., Shirley Cauthorne of Richmond and Martha Carey of Dunnsville.
The viewing was Thursday, Dec. 28, 2023 from 4-7 p.m. at Union Shiloh Baptist Church, 3 Union Shiloh Road, Jamaica, where the funeral service was conducted on Friday, Dec. 29, 2023 at 11 a.m. The interment was in the church cemetery.
