The Dec. 21 issue of the Southside Sentinel is the final one of the year. After it is published, the staff will be on its annual Christmas week vacation and the next issue will be published on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024. There will be no Dec. 28 edition.
The Sentinel office will not reopen until 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024.
The first Sentinel of 2024 will appear on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024.
The display advertising deadline for the first paper in January 2024 will be 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 29, announced Advertising Sales Manager Charlie Lassiter. Classified and news deadlines will remain the same, noon on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024.
