Jennifer Morotini coaches the combined swimming team for Middlesex High School (MHS), St. Clare Walker Middle School (SCW), as well as, Lancaster High School and Lancaster Middle School.
“Even though it’s a small team, they consistently prove that it isn’t the size of the team, but the size of their heart that matters,” said Coach Morotini. “They are coming off of a great season last year, and even though we graduated three seniors, we have a good base for our girls and boys teams.”
The Middlesex-Lancaster team had its first meet last week against Christchurch School and Northumberland and had “excellent races” from Nielson McMinn in his 100 breaststroke, Shannon Hickey in the 100 freestyle, CJ Sears in 100 backstroke, and our boy’s medley relay, including CJ Sears, Nielson McMinn, Louis Juarez, and Ryan Jenkins, said Coach Morotini.
