MHS boys basketball wins two

The Middlesex High School (MHS) Charger varsity boys basketball team won two games last week beating conference foe King William Cavaliers, 76-66, and Northumberland Indians, 49-43.

Against the Indians, MHS was paced by JaQuan Griffin who scored 23 points and was high scorer for the Chargers.

Against King William the Chargers outscored the Cavaliers in the first half 35-20, but were outscored in the second half, 46-41.

The Chargers have three games this week. MHS played Carver on Tuesday, Dec. 12; will host a powerful Lancaster Red Devil team today, Thursday, Dec. 14; and will travel to King and Queen Central to take on the Royal Tigers on Friday, Dec. 15.
