Help pick top Urbanna Christmas tree

Everyone is invited to the annual Festival of Trees, set for 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, on the Urbanna Town Green at 241 Virginia St. On display will be 16 Christmas trees decorated by folks from Mi Jalisco restaurant, Bethpage Camp-Resort, Primis Bank, Touch of Eden Home Health, Wooden Pickle Café, Middlesex County Kiwanis Club, Middlesex County Volunteer Rescue Squad, Key Club, K-Kids, Builders Club, Bay Aging, Urbanna Cat Project, Shear Delight, Horizons Unlimited Early Learning Center, Middlesex County Public Library system’s Urbanna branch and Sonny’s Boutique and Consignment. The Middlesex High School Choir will perform to open the official lighting of the trees.

Voting to select the top trees is open to the public by ballot (located on the fence of the Town Green) and by votes on the Town of Urbanna Facebook page. Voting opens at 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 1, and continues to  3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2.
