Top winners presented super-size frozen turkeys
Piankatank River Golf Club in Hartfield recently announced winners of its Nov. 18 annual Turkey Shoot Tournament.
First flight winners include, first, Jerry Duke and John Donner (64); second, Jeremy Collier and Hunter Martin (65); and third, John Holt and Bill Farinholt (70).
Second flight winners include, first, Paul Martin and Christian Martin (68); second, Rob Shipman and Jeff Coughter (70); and third, Suzanne and James Wright (73).
Third flight winners include, first, Barry Thomas and Michael Carter (71); second, Bill Puttman and Clayton Neal (76); and third, Brian Bowler and Dwayne Burns (77).
The Closest to the Pin award winners include #7, Mike Carter; and #14, Nina Carter.
“Thanks to all that participated. Congratulations to the winners,” said the club’s Yelena Palmer, who compiled and shared the results.
