Carey H. Latimore III was born March 24, 1934 to the late Carey Harvey Latimore II and Mary Virginia Latimore.
He passed away Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2023.
Carey was a United States Army veteran. He owned and operated Latimore’s Fiberglass Boat Repair for many years. He also was the magistrate for Middlesex County in the 9th Magisterial District of Virginia’s Judicial System for 35 years until his retirement in 2009.
Carey was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Latimore; and his son, Dr. Carey H. Latimore IV.
He is survived by his daughters, Kim McCarther (Al McCarther) and Dr. Kerri Latimore; daughter-in-law, Almie Latimore; grandson, Brandon McCarther; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service was Wednesday, Nov. 8 at Antioch Baptist Church, Saluda. Interment was in the church cemetery with military honors.
