Middlesex County incumbents held onto their seats in the Tuesday General Election, but there will still be some new faces in several positions, since not all of the incumbents decided to run again.
Supervisors races
In the Pinetop District Board of Supervisors race, Randall S. “Randy” Crittenden defeated Joe A. Heyman 572 to 461, capturing 55% of the votes. Incumbent Lud Kimbrough did not seek reelection.
In the other contested supervisors race, incumbent Wayne H. Jessie Sr. defeated challenger James W. Evans 493 to 284, capturing 63% of the votes.
Clerk of the court race
In the clerk of the court race, incumbent Rachel K. Hartenbach defeated her two challengers, getting 2,302 votes, compared to 1,292 for Aleena B. “Ally” Ward, and 347 for Michelle Lane Haskiell. Hartenbach captured 58% of the vote.
School board races
Other contested race winners included, in the Harmony Village School Board race, Thomas D. Kennedy defeating K. LaMar Gresham, 355 to 294, and capturing 54% percent of the vote. The incumbent in that seat, Claudia Soucek, did not seek reelection. In the Jamaica District School Board race, incumbent Elliott W. Reed defeated Evelyn B. Beaumont, 515 to 238, and captured 68% of the votes.
